16 Weeks and STILL growing!!

So I've hit 16 weeks!! It's crazy to see the weeks fly by. Trevor is excited because my belly has begun to protrude:) I haven't felt the baby move yet, but it's pretty amazing to feel where the little squirt is at! We get to find out in a few weeks if it's a boy or a girl -- I am super ecstatic about this appointment!! I'm so nervous that the baby will have it's legs folded so we won't be able to find out, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I've Been Tagged!!!

My Hubby

1. Where did you meet your husband?
At Utah State in a 7:30AM class......I'm surprised I was able to keep my eyes open long enough to meet anyone!!! His friend wanted to date me, so it took awhile for him to come around:) Which was good, because I wasn't ready for a relationship till five or six months after we met!

2. How long did you date before you married?
Technically??? Well, frankly it caught me off guard. We went on our first date in December, but didn't become exclusive until February - got engaged in March and married May 1st!! Yup it did go fast, but life could never be better without my sweet husband.

3. How long have you been married?
About 5 1/2 months! Just like Alicia we couldn't be more madly in love!!

4. What does he do that surprises you?
He studies for hours -- which would make me go crazy! I'll come home from work and he'll sometimes have all our laundry done!! (thank you so much baby!!) He LOVES to cook! Last week he totally surprised me by making some delicious sweet pork burritos, fiesta rice and homemade refried beans and had music and decorations! It was freakin' amazing! He always offers a good massage! He likes to let me win at games....probably to keep a smile on my face.

5. What is his favorite feature?
If I asked him that question he would end up saying something about me instead of himself!

6. What is your favorite quality of his?
The fact that he does everything he can for everyone else, especially me. He takes such good care of me - I don't know what I'd do without him!

7. Does he have a nickname for you?
Oh the list goes on and on:)

8. What is his favorite food?
He loves cheese! I would have to go with......Italian or Chinese

9. What is his favorite sport?
Definately football

10. When & where was your first kiss?
At his house in the basement, just after watching Princess Bride!!!!

11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?
We love watching movies and 24 all snuggled up nice and tight! We like cooking together, going on drives up the canyon, reading, staring into each others sexy eyes:) And lately looking up the weekly growth of our little one!

12. Do you have any children?
Ask me again in April:)

13. Does he have any hidden talents?
He has a super huge heart! He would take anytime out of his day to help out a friend or any family. He is amazing at fixing things and has a very creative mind!!

14. Who said I love you first?
You better believe that he did

15. What is his favorite music?
It changes all the time, he pretty much likes everything, like me so I'm not sure the right answer for that one. ( yup, kept the same answer as Alicia cause we're the same! )

16. What do you admire most about him?
His determination

17. What is his favorite color?
Blue

18. Will he read this?
Of course:) He likes to be involved with all ya'll

19. Who do you tag?
Let's see.......I tag Kallee, Kristi, and Alycia !!!

Secret, Secret I Gotta Secret

So, by the picture you can all pretty much guess what our next post is gonna be about!! Ya, I'm still trying to soak it all in myself:) So about two months ago I was late, and for me that isn't normal...but in my mind I made myself think "eh, it'll come" -- yup, sure didn't!! Trevor decided I needed to take a test. There was the most faintest pink line you'll ever see in your life and he starts jumping around getting all excited. I took one look and laughed, there was barley anything there! There's no way, so of course it was decided I would take one again the next day... another faint pink line. I kept looking over at it again and again, not really believing it. We didn't tell anyone for awhile. I did write my little brother that is on a mission -- he had just about the best reaction of anyone! He's so excited -- mostly to see my big belly when he gets home:) Now that both of our families know, we can now let you all in on our little secret!! (I'm sure you're feeling lots of relief Lynds, you can tell whoever you want now!) WE'RE HAVING A BABY!
I've been pretty lucky I think, I was only really nauseated for about a 1 1/2 weeks, luckily no throwing up -- except the other day I was dumping some stuff in the garbage and I guess the smell was just a little too nasty for my stomach and my breakfast ended up in the kitchen sink. It truly amazes me how strong my nose is now! I smell the slightest things and it can make my stomach churn so bad. We had our first doctor's appointment and everything looks really good. It was crazy to see that I actually have a little human growing in me - I'm gonna be a mommy! We saw the baby wiggle it's arms and legs and flip back and forth. Made me think our baby will be quite the little rug-rat if it's already squirming!
Trevor has been such a sweet husband. I can't believe how tired I am all the time! He's been so good at giving me massages and running to the store because I just can't seem to get back up after work! Luckily, I should be getting more energy here in a few weeks.
As time goes on I've gotten more and more excited! Being able to see the ultrasound made it a lot more real to me. I'm so excited we have the opportunity to be parents. I sit and think about how insane it is that our bodies can produce another human. I've been on this site that tells me everything that is developing every week with our baby (thanks to Alicia) and It's such a miracle to watch it grow so fast! I'm 11 weeks now, and everything critical is already developed! Only fine details and weight gain are left. We know there are going to be scary, rough, wanting to pull our hair out times ( thanks to watching older siblings have children:) ) but we are excited and so happy to go on this new journey of our lives!

A tribute to my wife Keesa!!

The other day I was a little bored with my job, well my full-time one I should say ( Full-Time Student), and I decided to browse our pictures on the laptop. My attention was directed towards our wedding day photos, for we had just hit four months of being married! Boy how times flies when you are the luckiest guy in the world. So as I was watching the slideshow of our pictures I got an idea that I wanted to make a collage of our pictures.
Looking back on that day everything came together to make my dream, I vividly remember how Keesa looked that day..... the most beautiful woman so full of excitment. As you can see from the pictures she is gorgeous, absolutely amazing, then there's that guy with her... hmmm anyways. It truly has been a great four months, so far... with many many memories to come! The thing I love the most about my beautiful bride is her friendship and caring attitude towards everyone. She is currently working full-time to be able to put me through school and I couldn't be more grateful for that. Anyone that has even just casually met Keesa can see her bubbly happy persona, and how she is always last on her list for anything, she is so selfless. I hope you all enjoy the little collage, just a tiny taste of that day, but you can see the happiness the beauty and the joy of it!!!

I love you with my whole heart Keesa!!
I am grateful for everyone that has contributed to who you are.

Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. Now remember...payback is a beast:) j/k....have at it. I deserve it.

Paddlin' with the pup

Yesterday Trevor and I decided to take it a little easy and go swimming in the pool. Tucker (the dog) has a thing for water. If you've got a hose, he'll run around trying to bite the water -- yes rather unusual -- so I was in the pool and Trev was about to get in and Tucker was freakin' out wanting to get in.....so, he threw the dog in!! Shhhh, Don't tell mom and daddy Mooney, ha ha. It was a site. Too bad we didn't use our video camera. He discovered he could touch in some areas with his hind legs, so he tried to walk instead of swim! Ya, I was nervous he was gonna drown.

On Friday Trev and I went to the Bountiful temple with his parents and some friends. I haven't done initiatories since I went through three years ago - it was a neat experience and we all had fun. Afterwards we went out for some chinese at the Mandrin. The lettuce wraps were especially good:)

It was an awesome sunset! Perfect end to a perfect day!

Froggin'

Yes, I do realize this is my second post for the day, but hey let's just say I'm making up for the terrible job I've been doing! So last night was rather interesting. Trevor and his dad (Jerry) decided they wanted to introduce me to something called 'frogging'. I was a little suspicious at first, but it turned out to be so much fun! We drove out to a pond by a golf course we live by with a big net and covered ourselves in bug spray. We were each securely fastened with a flashlight. I never realized how deep a ribbit from a frog really is. You could hear them all over it was crazy. I never thought in a million years that I would actually hold a frog -- not just a tiny frog, but the biggest one of the night. I'd like to say I'm the proud catcher of the largest amphibian of the night:) I'd also like to say the face in the picture says it all! they are squishy, sticky and they jump when you least expect it!

Here's my big fat froggy!! I named him Herbert:)

Trev's first catch of the night! Look we even taught them to play dead!

May the blogging begin

well, sounds to me like we've all come to an agreement that i truly suck at the whole blogging thang! i apologize to you all! As of right now, Trevor and I have officially moved to Stansbury Park...yes we're back in Utah. I got a killer job in a dental office only a few blocks away -- i can't thank the heavens above enough for that one! Trevor is tiling a house across the street and he'll be coming in to my office to shadow the three dentists i work for to get prepared for dental school. I loved Phoenix, the heat, sand, our pool, my job, bein' close to grandpa and even all the cactus and palm trees! But i'm not gonna lie, we did miss all of you and our family and we're glad to be back in the climate we know best. we had a fun 4th of July! Trevor and I stuffed our car with swimsuits, fire crackers and his parents:) We went up to Logan to watch the fireworks with my family. After the amazing show before we started walking back to the car I realized I didn't have the keys anymore.....neither did my sweet husband. Ya, don't worry I realized I put them in my purse... which I safely tucked away in our trunk right before we walked down the big hill to the stadium!! Talk about stupidity. I couldn't believe it. Good thing my mom is fabulous and found a cop with a slim jim. He was kind enough to meet us up and my brother Rob and sister in law Kristi's house -- where the car was, obviously -- so just as we were getting to the car the cop showed up. He started shoving this tiny little saw lookin thing (slim jim) into our car door. To make matters worse and my stupidity coming out even farther, Trevor came to find that one of the doors was open!! Ya, that was a rather fun adventure, and yes I apologized about a million and one times to that poor officer.

In the beginning....

Once upon a time….

There was a sweet little peach named Kees. She was working days as a dental assistant and slaved away the nights cleaning a building for NASA in Logan. Life hadn’t handed her the best of lemons, but she was trying her darndest to make the yummiest lemonade. With her boyfriend moving back to Oregon, she decided it was about time to take her education a little farther and prepare herself for the daring world of a dental hygienist. Utah State University was the school of choice. She procrastinated her registration long enough that she ended up with the only choice of a 7:30am English class.

There lived a dashing stud muffin of a man named Trevor. He sweat away his days in the sun at a concrete plant in Erda. Having such hard days of work he played away his nights, but the girls just didn’t seem quite right. At first glance, the girls seemed like something worth pursuing, but underneath the guise of a sweet smile lived only hurt and terrible sorrow for this sweet man. With life getting a little frustrating he settled with the notion of going to night school at the USU extension, and leaving girls out of the picture. After the first week of school he missed old friends and wondered how college life was treating them. Upon talking with his friend Jared Spackman, he got convinced into moving to Logan and attending Utah State University. Not knowing why, he packed everything up that night and headed north, calling his boss on the way to let him know he wouldn’t be in to work anymore. On the drive up he decided there was something missing and he was gonna find it at Utah State. As a consequence for moving up after the semester started, he ended up with the lovely schedule of starting his day at 7:30am in English.

And this my dear friends, is where our wee little story began! The last nine months have been crazy and exciting! It's been a once in a lifetime experience. I never knew life could be this amazing in such a short amount of time! Trevor and I didn't start dating until the end of December, and even then I kept pushing him back a little, telling him he needed to date other girls too. In my mind, anything serious was far, far away. Marriage was probably the furthest thing from my mind. He cracked the whip though in February, letting me know that I needed to either date him or it was gonna have to be done. So, I took a week to think things over - and by that first day I pretty much made up my mind. I told him I would put my fears aside and go with it! Can you imagine.....three weeks later we were engaged and a month and a half after that we were sealed for eternity!?!? What can say, i guess we just like to keep everyone on their toes!
