Remember when. . .

Okay this little post has been going around and I love the concept so here it goes....

As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. Now remember...payback is a beast:) j/k....have at it. I deserve it.

Paddlin' with the pup

Yesterday Trevor and I decided to take it a little easy and go swimming in the pool. Tucker (the dog) has a thing for water. If you've got a hose, he'll run around trying to bite the water -- yes rather unusual -- so I was in the pool and Trev was about to get in and Tucker was freakin' out wanting to get in.....so, he threw the dog in!! Shhhh, Don't tell mom and daddy Mooney, ha ha. It was a site. Too bad we didn't use our video camera. He discovered he could touch in some areas with his hind legs, so he tried to walk instead of swim! Ya, I was nervous he was gonna drown.

On Friday Trev and I went to the Bountiful temple with his parents and some friends. I haven't done initiatories since I went through three years ago - it was a neat experience and we all had fun. Afterwards we went out for some chinese at the Mandrin. The lettuce wraps were especially good:)

Froggin'

Yes, I do realize this is my second post for the day, but hey let's just say I'm making up for the terrible job I've been doing! So last night was rather interesting. Trevor and his dad (Jerry) decided they wanted to introduce me to something called 'frogging'. I was a little suspicious at first, but it turned out to be so much fun! We drove out to a pond by a golf course we live by with a big net and covered ourselves in bug spray. We were each securely fastened with a flashlight. I never realized how deep a ribbit from a frog really is. You could hear them all over it was crazy. I never thought in a million years that I would actually hold a frog -- not just a tiny frog, but the biggest one of the night. I'd like to say I'm the proud catcher of the largest amphibian of the night:) I'd also like to say the face in the picture says it all! they are squishy, sticky and they jump when you least expect it!

Here's my big fat froggy!! I named him Herbert:)

Trev's first catch of the night! Look we even taught them to play dead!

May the blogging begin

well, sounds to me like we've all come to an agreement that i truly suck at the whole blogging thang! i apologize to you all! As of right now, Trevor and I have officially moved to Stansbury Park...yes we're back in Utah. I got a killer job in a dental office only a few blocks away -- i can't thank the heavens above enough for that one! Trevor is tiling a house across the street and he'll be coming in to my office to shadow the three dentists i work for to get prepared for dental school. I loved Phoenix, the heat, sand, our pool, my job, bein' close to grandpa and even all the cactus and palm trees! But i'm not gonna lie, we did miss all of you and our family and we're glad to be back in the climate we know best. we had a fun 4th of July! Trevor and I stuffed our car with swimsuits, fire crackers and his parents:) We went up to Logan to watch the fireworks with my family. After the amazing show before we started walking back to the car I realized I didn't have the keys anymore.....neither did my sweet husband. Ya, don't worry I realized I put them in my purse... which I safely tucked away in our trunk right before we walked down the big hill to the stadium!! Talk about stupidity. I couldn't believe it. Good thing my mom is fabulous and found a cop with a slim jim. He was kind enough to meet us up and my brother Rob and sister in law Kristi's house -- where the car was, obviously -- so just as we were getting to the car the cop showed up. He started shoving this tiny little saw lookin thing (slim jim) into our car door. To make matters worse and my stupidity coming out even farther, Trevor came to find that one of the doors was open!! Ya, that was a rather fun adventure, and yes I apologized about a million and one times to that poor officer.
