1st Birthday!!

Someday, I just might start blogging on time.
Probably not, but until then...

Happy 1st Birthday
to my sweet baby girl!
Madison had an awesome birthday
(back in April)

This girl has the BEST
facial expressions....
she was so shocked to get
a new swimming suit and jelly sandals,
even though she helped mommy
pick them out:)

After a few presents in the morning
we got all dressed
and headed out with friends
for the hot springs!
Luckily, it was amazing weather...
you never can tell in northern Utah,
especially in April!

She was giggling and splashing up a storm.

After the hot springs my family came over
with Trevor's parents and we
had cupcakes and ice cream!
It was so much fun putting these together
with Madi's cake.
I was a little intimidated to try it out,
but I'm so glad I did!

Madi seriously had to investigate her cake!
She loved eating it, but she really
hated being messy and not being
able to shake off all the frosting:)
We should have recorded it, it was hilarious!

Rewind

Big time back up!!!
This was our FUN trip to
California with our awesome friends
Brian, Holly and Blake.
Madi and Blake our the same age....
and have so much fun together:)

We were able to visit the Wild Animal Park,
Sea World, and San Diego Zoo!

Madi did WAY better than I thought she would!
She actually kept herself occupied
during the LoNg drive.
She could not get enough of all the
animals and fish we saw!

I made matching onsies for the kids
one for sea world....has shamu
and another for the zoo!
These kids had so much fun.

Madison slept great.....but she
likes HER crib much better than
the one in the hotel:)

2 yrs and many more.....

It has been two years since I have married the love of my life and my best friend (sorry dad she just looks a whole lot better than you:)) We have a beautiful daughter Madison that is such a joy and can I say for the record, she is growing up so fast!!! We love to laugh and just be around each other watching movies, playing the marble game, having friends over for dinner and spending time with family. I would say that I am the luckiest guy on the planet but attributing my wife to luck would not do her justice. She truly is my angel sent from a loving God! There are times when I certainly don't deserve to have such a wonderful wife, that is something I have ETERNITY to work at:) Keesa the night we went bowling I knew you were the wife I was searching for, the wonderful mother I only dreamed my children could have.
Here's to two years Babe and many many more....

Lucky Me

We ventured to the swings today to show
daddy just how brave Madi is.
This girl couldn't stop giggling!!!

kitchen table to match our chairs.

New Years Eve was awesome.....we played games and
hung out at my parents for awhile....
then we headed home, put Madison to sleep,
enjoyed drinks and a movie
just the TWO of us!

My big brother Brig got married to the lovely Ali
on January 2 in the Salt Lake temple.
It was so awesome to be there with both of them.
All the pictures are on Kristen's blog, of course.
I miss them both.....there in Tenn. for schooling,
nice jobbey you two:)

I had a fabulous birthday earlier this month!
I got to sleep in.....YAY!!
My dear husband made me breakfast and then
Trev took Madi and they cleaned the house
while I soaked in a bubble bath and read.
They took me to Hobby Lobby (best store ever)
and I got some really sweet stuff for our house,
SO exciting!
Trevor than proceeded to make me dinner and
we had surprise guests.... Melanie, Danny, Liz, Chad,
and Heather all came to celebrate!!
It was awesome to eat and play games:)
To top it off, Trevor MADE me an ice cream cake!!
( i hate real cake)
Yes, you don't have to tell me twice....
I KNOW I have the most amazing huband
EVER!!

My handy - man of a husband is in the process
of making a new
coffee table!
I can't wait for it to be finished,
not only will our garage be clean and project free...
it's really looking so good!

Here is what I woke up to the other morning.....
not only the CUTEST little thing,
she's also quite TRICKY!!

somehow through the night she decided her feet needed
to snuggle together or something.....

here she is, so very proud:)

Baby it's cold......INSIDE!

We've all been sick lately,
Madison still has a bit of a stuffy nose.
Makes it hard for her to breathe at night
while laying down.
So she hasn't been sleeping as long as she normally does.
Today she woke up around 6:45
She seemed still tired, so the nice mom I am
I let her snuggle with me in my bed!
We finally got up an hour later, seemed a little cold,
but figured it was just me.....cause I'm
usually cold this time of year.
My sister happened to call, to complain about how cold
she was, ha funny enough, she should win
though, it was -25 where she is.
Guess it makes me a little more thankful to be living in
northern Utah.....I think.
So, Madi and I were seriously covered in four blankets
on the couch.
I decided I needed to maybe turn up the heat to 72 for
just a little bit.
WOW, shall I take a second look at the thermostat??
Yup, it said 61......talk about FREEZING!
I called and the fix it man came over, I guess the
construction guys were supposed to replace the filter
one last time before we got the ok to move in.
Ya, they didn't.
It was FILLED with dust from all the construction!
It messed up the relay switch, but all is well now.
I'm now toasty warm,
Madi has been sleeping for two hours.
Sorry sis, my warmth got fixed and your's didn't.
I guess you could come visit?

During Trevor's weekend of fun

we visited Nana and Papa!

Madison enjoyed building castles,
but more knocking them down:)

She also demolished grahmcrackers
and helped make homemade doughnut holes!

We think Madi is really going to enjoy her first
Christmas!
Nana already put up her tree and madison
sat so still staring at all
the different lights!
